Women’s Custom Suit Breakdown

The Overall Suit
This suit was made from a Capitol Hill Clothiers signature 100% cotton. This client wanted a versatile spring/summer suit that was unique and appropriate for both DC and Miami. This client is an artist, so it serves her well at art shows, Miami clubs and restaurants, as well as any other summertime event!
The Styling
This client was inspired by a Chanel suit but wanted to make it her own and spend way less than Chanel would have charged. She opted for a double-breasted jacket with bright gold buttons so that she could wear the jacket and pants together as a suit, but also as a blazer over a more casual outfit with contrasting pants.
The Lining
Anything can be placed in a Capitol Hill Clothiers jacket lining. This client is an artist herself, so we placed one of the most popular pieces from her cherry blossom collection in her jacket. The pink and white work perfectly with the pure white of the jacket fabric. Fun fact: The custom lining also appears inside the jacket’s chest pocket so it can be flipped up as a custom pocket square!
The Pants
The 100% cotton white pants also provide infinite opportunities to be worn as a suit or with almost any other pairing. Spring/Summer in DC is HOT, so the lightweight cotton and white color will give her the most versatility possible.
